Loose compensator nut? Or primary chain auto adjuster is not working properly.

I reuse them. Oil gets slung around the inside of the primary from the chain traveling on its lower journey thru the oil in the bottom of the primary. The oil level is far below that inspection cover on the primaries that have them. The amount of oil being slung around won’t be at risk of leaking even on a gasket that has been used several times in my opinion. Not all primaries have that inspection cover.
