Yea the golden years do seem to be a little tarnished, but look on the bright side the green side is still up, so it could be worse.
I check the obits every morning, if I don't see my name  it's a great day.
By the way whats normal? Never been there!

well I'm trying to refurbish the side rails to the pool table...(mainly just the felt).....doing one rail at a time......taking my time......seems like the mfg process used 1/4 inch square dowels to hold the felt........gonna try an reuse it, but they are glued in with spray adhesive.

A small amount of laquer thinner or gunwash will soften the adhesive and you can easily pull the dowels out. The residue from the solvent will evaporate.

thanks.....i had some wd 40 handy........sprayed it in the cap an brushed it on.....werked like a charm. 1 down 5 to go,....may tackle 2 more tonight iffen i don't get called in to real werk,lol.
