Good day fellas.. stuck in Tex Arkansas. My riding partner burned up a front wheel bearing in Ok.. lucky for him it seized just after getting gas and not at 75+.. Bike is at Texarkana HD and should be done soon.. so far the trip has been awesome.. good friends I. The road with only a destination.. no set route.. all backroads thru rural America. Very sad to see the damage this current political clusterF%#k has done to small town America.. Vote Red is all I’ll say in that one..if you value the “before times”think we are finally out of the rain.. for now. Will lost more as time allows.. oh yeah the even better news.. before I decided to do this.. I was looking at probable Colon Cancer.. results came back the day we left.. no cancer..

Glad that bearing seized at low speed like you said. Tell your friend to buy a lottery ticket today. His good luck might still payoff.

Also glad to hear that the cancer diagnosis was good.

Ride safe and enjoy the backroads of America.

Thanks for checking in - Glad to hear the positive news on your cancer scare!!

Also good that the bearing did not cause a bad crash - seems like someone is watching over you on this trip.

Thanks for  the updates!!

best

Hey Robert, good to hear from you. That wheel bearing going out could have been way worst. Glad all is well with you and no cancer is just the icing on the cake. Been away from the forum for awhile (life) but am glad you checked in. Did you happen to see those antifa jerks that had to be safely escorted from Main St today ? Big guy with purple hair made the huge mistake to kick a bike. Not a good ending for him. Lucky the cops took him away. Keep the pix coming and stay safe.

Hi @RHSRA, how did the rest of the trip go?  Did you make it to Sturgis and the Colorado Rockies?
If you are not part of the solution you are part of the precipitate.

Sorry for the delay.. yes I made it to Sturgis and spent 10 days riding SD Wyoming and Montana.. we did go thru Colorado Springs onThe way home.. found out my rear master cylinder took a shit and left me at the summit of Pikes Peak with no rear brakes .. hahhaha oh well .. front and tranny work... had to hurry home.. momma missing me.. and election duties called.. I’ll post some pics when I’m able.. I was there when the pussies showed up.. I also witnessed what you did not in any media.. when the moron decided to kick the bike he was immediately jumped and pummeled before cops could get to him.. as it should be.. thanks for the detailed Rockies route .. I’m saving it for future

I was there, as were about 300000 others and no COVID-19 measure were in place but there was no COVID-19 outbreak, kinda makes you think a little. Sorry our schedules didn't align I would have liked to meet up with you.

Now some media are reporting 250000 positive case for sturgis, numbers don't add-350,000 attended would equal  3 out 4 would be positive. I personally know 12 people including myself who went and have no symptoms. I was just tested 6 days ago because I'm having carpal tunnel surgery done tomorrow, I tested neg. With such false reports it's getting harder and harder to take this seriously, like the boy who cried wolf too many times

They have to make SD a danger zone.. SD namely Kristie noem essentially told the media F%#k off.. Sturgjs is on...
no hospitals are full.  I testing is needed.. and sd people are not scared or worried.. neither is any of America I traveled.. 20 states...  Covid has always been a bullshit political tool..
not as much as tool as Biden.. but close..
