Here is the replacement for the crashed 85 IROC, he found this local sitting in a garage.




this vehicle still has the factory hoses and belts


the old tuned port engine

the swap over of parts begin

the engine is in

You saw this car on page #3 post 32 when the owner of the shop found this 57 and the 56 Nomad and bought them He sold the 56 right away. this 57 was last running on the road in 1979 then was parked in the garage, the old owner tabed it untill 1997 for some reason and at some point the motor was froze and the block cracked and ended up locking up from rust. A friend of the owner bought it recently and now we are going to put in a motor and change it to a 4 speed manual, he has a interior upholstery kit coming, I am not sure if we are doing that part or not.




this is the solid lifter cam dual quad motor that will be going in. it was the original motor that went into the owners 57 before we made it into a gasser and put a built 454 into it.


He is not going to paint this just drive it as is.
