Harley had a recall of this valve (#61338-94D) because a new fuel additive in California was dissolving the diaphragm.  Their solution was a
repair kit with a new diaphragm.  I'm trying to find one of those kits, Harley does not appear to sell it,
my fuel valve is an orphan so I don't have a serial number associated with it.  Any source for those parts
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rodeking2

I see that recall from 2005, so I believe that if you buy a new pit cock, or diaphragm, that the newer diaphragm would be what you would be getting. What I'm not seeing is the reason that you are suggesting to be the reason why. Could you be a little more specific as to what year and model you are referring to ?

I just took a stab at a model and year that would use a fuel petcock. Here is a link to the part you are talking about. The “D” version is the latest release of the part. Any HD dealer should be able to sell you that petcock.

Item 28 is the petcock valve in the below picture and seen in the above link. It can be ordered per the part number that you have given... 61338-94D

As far a rebuild kit, I see from the service bulletin that I linked below that HD dealers rebuilt these petcocks at one time but with many years later I would doubt that a rebuild kit is still sitting on the shelf. The updated part is what you should be able to get at the dealer now.

Here is a link to the HD service bulletin and rebuild instructions for that petcock when damaged with the gasoline additive...

Yes thanks I'm trying NOT to buy a valve as I already have one.  By the part # it is used from 1994 on (carburettor) models.
Just looking for the rebuild kit, thanks.

According to the above SB that I linked, the rebuild kit is Recall Code 088 Kit (Part No. 93797).
