Description: After you are SURE you made and welded every bracket. Drill every hole. Modified everything you want, you can begin the magic of molding the frame or as I call it sculpturing the frame. Molding the frame is accomplished by applying several layers Polyester Putty, better know as bondo. I use evercoat polyester putty. In large areas 1/8 inch or deeper fill in with welds and metal. Be careful not to distort your frame with to much heat, use small welds this isn't structural. You can't always accomplish your finished design with just one layer. Several thin layers are better than one thick layer. I like to call it sculpturing because like art there is no wrong or right design. I like to mold my frames where everything just flows from one structure to another such as the neck to the down tubes but not to lose the original design of the frame.( first picture ).
