Note: Everyone is welcome. If you live around the Phoenix area or might be further away like a few members that are planning on attending, you are welcome to ride.

It just so happens that bc45 is traveling to Phoenix on a family trip and while here he is making a day available to go for a ride on the Arizona Highways!

Here is what I propose we do...

Meet at Big Earl’s Greasy Eats in Cave Creek for breakfast/coffee at 8:30 AM on Sunday October 29th.

Big Earl's Greasy Eats

6135 E Cave Creek Rd, Cave Creek, AZ 85331

(480) 575-7889

http://www.bigearlsgreasyeats.com/

After coffee and/or breakfast is over leave Earl’s in Cave Creek and take Pima Road south to Dynamite/E Rio Verde Drive and travel east to Rio Verde

Turn south (right) on Forest Road thru Rio Verde

Turn right on McDowell Mountain Road towards the city of Fountain Hills

Take Saguaro Blvd past the Fountain Park (stop at fountain). Then continue on to Shea Blvd turn left on Shea to the Beeline Hwy. Before heading north on the Beeline Hwy top off gas in Fountain Hills.

Take the Beeline Hwy north to Hwy 188 South going to Punkin Center (Lunch) then on thru Tonto Basin then to Roosevelt Lake (stop at the damn).

Continue south on 188 to Miami/Globe

At the Hwy 188/Hwy 60 junction take Hwy 60 west to Superior and then on to Apache Junction and then into Phoenix

Some general info about the ride...
From Big Earl’s the trip thru Rio Verde to Fountain Hills and up the Beeline then back south to Roosevelt Lake to Miami/Globe to Superior to Phoenix is about a 4-hour ride. With stops for pictures and lunch this should fill up a day of riding.

Hope you can make it! Feel free to comment below in this thread.

Thanks for the good wishes. Yeah, this ride would be a little hard for you to attend. We will take some pictures and share them here.

That will work! The “atmosphere” at Jake’s Corner is better anyway.
